Former Benton Community Teacher now Teacher of the Year at Western Illinois

On May 13, Mount Mercy University pinned over 50 nursing graduates at the Nursing Pinning Ceremony. Graduates Grace Herring '22 and Michael Riches '22 were featured as student speakers at the event. Camryn Foote '22 read a poem she wrote for the nursing class of 2022. Two nursing awards were given out. The Sister Mary Edward McConohy Nursing Award was given to Jada Veasey '22.

The students listed below graduated from Mount Mercy University this May. Commencement ceremonies were held Sunday, May 15, 2022, at the Alliant Energy PowerHouse in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. For over 90 years, Mount Mercy has grown in size and reputation, adapting to meet the changing educational needs of the Cedar Rapids community. Its 1,600+ students come from around the globe, creating a vibrant, diverse and open-minded campus community.
North Eden Willing Workers Minutes 5/15/22
May 15, 2022The North Eden Willing Workers met at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Vinton. The meeting was called to order at 5:05 p.m. and roll call was taken. The secretary and treasurer’s reports were read. Olive’s name was added to the list of members presenting at the April meeting. The club has a balance of $1,508.34.
